‘Y’ turret was the last of the three main armament turrets to be completed. In this photograph taken on 18 May, the second 15in gun is being lowered onto its cradle. (NRS UCS1-118-443-251)

A good view of the midships area on 2 August with a 50ft pinnace and 32ft cutter in place. The blast screen for the triple 4in gun has been erected at the base of the mainmast although the mounting is still to be fitted in position beneath the 60ft main derrick. (NRS UCS1-118-443-290)

Repulse essentially complete with the exception of her triple 4in mountings still to be fitted on the platforms to either side of the funnel. Note the extensive engine and boiler shops at the head of the fitting-out basin. (NRS UCS1-118-443-293)
